I just officially joined Humanity+. What does that mean? I guess it means I am really part of the transhumanist movement as this membership has a monthly cost (although not very expensive).

I am still studying Transhumanism a bit more before I start blogging. Most likely start in March or April of 2013.
When will I announce my blog? Well, if you are reading this post within the next few weeks, you got lucky on your searches. I am not ready until I have at least a couple of articles written to show. Otherwise I am just blogging empty content and wasting people’s time. My only concern is my writing skills. I never tried writing much like journalism. I do write emails and technical documents at work but that is not the same thing. So why even start to blog I ask myself? It is because I have so many ideas about Transhumanism, Singularity, AGI and Longevity that my mind is starting to explode. I need to release my ideas and this is the only way I can do it. So I guess a target goal for announcing this blog will be sometime in Spring 2013 but maybe sooner.
I also created another FB Page called “Future News”. This is more personal than anything else. I wanted a good collection of all my posts to refer back to. I started to notice that I was posting at different groups and they were getting lost. I am sure I can go to post history to find them but it was not what I wanted. I like having all my related posts in a nice page format. I hope people find the content I post interesting. I will also use both my “Future News” page and “Transhuman Timeline” page as reference when I write articles for this blog.
I created FB Transhuman Timline on Facebook and publish it about one minute pass midnight of 2013.
There are a few FB groups related to transhumanism but none of them had a general news feed of things happening around the globe and Internet. Also, I notice all are groups. I thought I would create a page instead of a group as I wanted control on the content of the posting. You can set groups to only allow admin to post but then what is the point of groups if you are not willing to share. If my FB Transhuman Timeline gets popular (over 300 likes), I will probably create a Transhuman Timeline group to allow people to post content. Anyway, I will see how things go.
